Carlyle will play Germantown on Thursday, February 2nd at 6:00 pm (bus time 4:30 pm)
Just a reminder...8th Grade Night w/Kaskaskia College at CJHS is still scheduled to take place tomorrow, Wednesday, February 1st at 5:00 PM in the CJHS library.

Carlyle School District will be closed tomorrow, Tuesday, January 31st. Though the main roads are mostly clear, the side roads and rural roads are still mostly ice covered. With the low temperatures expected overnight and, in the morning, I don't see these conditions improving. Stay safe and hopefully we will see everyone on Wednesday.

Teams from 5/6th and 7/8th grade attended the ROE's France themed Brain Games event this week. Our teams competed against area schools in trivia, speed challenges, minute-to-win-it games, and catapult and game board creations amongst many other activities.

REMINDER: 8th grade night will be on Wednesday, February 1st at 5:00 p.m. All current 8th grade students and their parents are invited (refreshments will be provided). KC will be here to discuss dual credit opportunities in high school and the Career Pathways online tool.
The Boys Basketball Class M Regional Championship game at Carlyle Jr. High School scheduled for Friday, 1/27/2023 at 5 pm will now be played on Saturday, 1/28/23 at 11:00 am at Carlyle Jr. High School.
Due to some scheduling issues, we are going to push our After School Enrichment start date back one more week, and begin on January 31st instead of this Tuesday.

The CJHS 7th & 8th grade boys basketball games at Roxana on Thursday, January 19th will be played at Roxana High School (Larry Milazzo Gymnasium).

The Regional Championship game will be played at 5:00 on Friday.
The winner of the Regional Championship will play at 4:45 at Rend Lake on January 20th.

8th grade parents mark your calendars for Wednesday, February 1st. Kaskaskia College will be coming to talk to 8th graders and their parents about Career Pathways and dual credit opportunities in high school. The program start time has been rescheduled to 5:00 PM, refreshments will be provided!
5th grade and 6th grade Jr. High volleyball players will have conditioning/open gym today after school until 4:00 p.m. Jr. High volleyball tryouts are tentatively set for January 17 & 18.
