Tomorrow, Monday, January 22nd will be an E-Learning Day for all three schools. The current forecast is calling for the freezing rain/ice to arrive about the same time that our buses and students would be on the roads traveling to school. With this being our first E-Learning day of the year, I wanted to share a few important reminders- Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd Grade please find Day 1 of your E-Learning Day packets. Packets were sent home last week. Grades 3rd-12th will need to log on to Google Classroom. Teachers will be available from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. to help assist students with their work. We have been monitoring the weather situation throughout the day. The safety of our students and staff is our highest priority. Due to the extreme cold and and forecasted snowfall overnight, Carlyle CUSD #1 will not be in session tomorrow, Tuesday, January 16th. This will be a snow day, not an e-learning day. Stay warm!
Good luck to the Carlyle High School Cheerleaders! They will be competing in the Illinois Cheerleading Coaches Association state finals this weekend in Springfield. They will compete in the small varsity division at 8:45am on Saturday at the Springfield Center.
Today started a new tradition for the Carlyle Indians Boys Basketball team and we love it!! Today was "Impact Day." Players traded jerseys with staff members that have made an "impact" on their success. #prideinthetribe

Carlyle CUSD #1 Spiritwear orders from the AVH Print webpage are in! Thanks to everyone who came and picked up their orders on Friday! If you were unable to pick your order up on Friday, orders will be available for pickup tomorrow, Tuesday, 8/29, in the CJHS cafeteria from 4:00-5:30 PM.
Carlyle CUSD 1 Spiritwear orders from the AVH Print webpage are in! Orders are available for pickup today in the CJHS cafeteria from 2:30-5:00 PM. We will have more opportunities to pick up orders next week.
